White Rock Lake

The second Saturday of every month is Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up at White Rock Lake Park. Join the clean-up effort put on by For the Love of the Lake and our Adopt-A-Shoreline groups, never missing a month since April 1996!

Newcomers are welcomed and all meet between 8 to 9 a.m. at the FTLOTL office in Casa Linda Plaza, Buckner & Garland Road (facing Buckner). Come on out nice and early on Second Saturdays, have some refreshments, get some exercise, meet a great group of folks (if we do say so ourselves), and help us keep the shores of White Rock Lake clean and sparkling! We’ll have a yummy “continental breakfast” for you featuring hot Starbucks coffee, goodies from Great Harvest Bread Co., Highland Park Cafeteria, and Marsue’s Kitchen, delicious orange juice and rich chocolate milk from Schepps Dairy, and refreshing Rain Fresh bottled water.

We also provide all of your Spruce-Up supplies, including trash bags (courtesy of Keep Texas Beautiful), recycling bags (courtesy of City of Dallas Recycling Department), and latex gloves.

Participate in two consecutive Spruce-Ups and earn a Second Saturday t-shirt!
