You’ve been caught Lovin’ The Lake

We know you love the Lake. As a FTLOTL Volunteer, you donate your time to attend our spruce-ups, you help on park improvement projects and you donate funds to keep our organization running. A better Lake and Park is our reward. The more the do, the better the Lake gets. That’s why we say our Volunteers make a difference at the Lake every day!

To provide a little more recognition for all that you do, we’ve launched a program to recognize those folks that are caught lovin’ the Lake. If one of our secret Lake enthusiasts catches you, you might be handed a “You’ve been caught lovin’ the Lake!” card. This can be redeemed for a small prize from our Treasure Cabinet at any Second Saturday Shoreline Spruce-Up, at one of our monthly Volunteer meetings, or any Saturday morning at our office between 8 am and noon.

Our secret lake enthusiasts will also be on the alert to reward those that show their love. Stooping to pick up a piece of trash during a park stroll some weekday, helping a stranger with directions, wiping out the water fountain bowl… you just never know when you might be caught lovin’ the Lake!

For instance, why wear your FTLOTL volunteer T-shirt only on Second Saturday? Why not wear it anytime you’re heading for the Lake? It’s cool to pass another Volunteer on the trail and give a thumbs up! And, you may just be caught lovin’ the Lake!
